RESCUE IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

Wildlife arriving at ARC Wild may need weeks—or months—of specialized care before it can return home. That means formula and food. Medication. Veterinary treatment. Incubators. Enclosures that meet Federal law. Heat/Air. Transportation. Specialized equipment. And a whole lot of laundry and cleaning. Our licensed rehabilitators and educators volunteer their time, their talents and the cost of saving wildlife in Kansas.

We don't just want kids to know the names of animals. We want them to care what happens to them. ARC Wild Rangers is an education program for youth in 4th-8th grades. They work with our live animal ambassadors, enjoy hands-on discovery through citizen science projects, explore future careers in conservation and learn to advocate for wildlife.

Because when children understand nature, they're more likely to respect it. And when they respect it, they're more likely to protect it. That's ARC Wild's mission: We teach. They will follow.
