It takes a village to save the life of an orphaned baby wild animal It also takes a lot of formula, medicine, food, equipment and months of specialized care. ARC Wild’s team of licensed wildlife rehabilitators don’t receive government funding but instead, rely on animal lovers like you.
We provide 24/7 hotline response, wildlife rescue and live animal education programs to Nemaha, Brown, Atchison, Doniphan, Jackson, Marshall and Washington counties in Kansas.
Here is how we spent the donations we received in 2024:
* We expanded the ARC Wild Ranger program to include more kids.
* We became licensed with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services to include eagles!
* We rescued more than 200 animals in northeast Kansas. Most were returned to the wild.
* We recruited and sponsored (1) new wildlife rehabilitators education.
* We welcomed a new animal ambassador “Squash” to our program.
* We provided education programs to 4,763 kids over the summer months.
* We completed construction of an outdoor classroom for group programs.
We need your help. ARC Wild is a 501(c)3 organization and our team is 100% volunteer. Every penny stays in northeast Kansas and goes directly to our mission of teaching our communities how to live harmoniously with nature. There are many ways to give:
* Donate in person at the Main Event on November 22nd from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
* Give virtually at www.givetogrowday.com
* Mail a donation to GSCF, PO Box 111, Sabetha, KS 66534
Help us be there for Kansas wildlife.
